Over at the Apple trailer site, the trailer for the new Brad Pitt and Sean Penn film – The Tree of Life has launched. I have to say this film came out of nowhere for me as I had not heard of it till I watched the trailer, but from the looks of it, its going to be amazing! The camera work looks great, and the style of filming they have chosen to go with, suits the tone of the trailer/film (I guess). I have no idea what is up with the space shots that are featured (they look really cool as well) but I think we’ll find out.
The other thing that stands out in the trailer is the score track featured. Apparently this might have been done by Alexandre Desplat. Anyway some industrious fellow at the IMDB forums has ripped the score from the official site, which you can download from the links below.

EDIT: Thanks to commenter’s Elwin and JP (down below) who have pointed out, and corrected me in stating that the orchestral music is actually a set of works called Má vlast by Czech composer Bedřich Smetana. The version in the trailer being possibly by Wilhelm Furtwängler. Here are some related links:

Just a little correction …
Music in the trailer was composed by czech composer Bedřich Smetana. It is symphonic poem called "Vltava" (Moldau, important czech river) from set of symphonic poems "Má vlast" (My country)
You can find more about it and listen to the hole 14minutes piece in here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A1_vlast
Thanks for the link Elwin, Ill check it out and see if any changes need to be made!
Hey Elwin, I've checked out the music on the link you provided but I'm having trouble hearing the similarity – but that just might be me. I was just wondering how you know this is the same music?
Hey Roraz, if you're still interested I have to concur with Elwin it most certainly is Smetna's Ma Vlast.

This is a link for a recording of it, though if you want the version from the trailer, I believe it is the Furtwangler version which was released by EMI classics. It is slightly slower.
