So I thought I would start a new post series on this blog of mine, that concerns soundtracks, mainly those from films, TV shows, trailers, games etc. Basically if there’s a song that I hear during a film, or TV show and I like it, then basically I will do the usual and write a small, babbling bit about it, then link to the song. Enough said.
The first one off the block, would be a song that I heard while listening to last weeks episode of Warehouse 13 called Vendetta, the bit when Claudia was stalking her ex outside his shop. It was a very catchy number that became stuck in my head.
After a bit of digging I found out the song was Foster the People – Pumped Up Kicks, which has also featured on a recent episode of Entourage as well (but I saw that episode and didn’t notice the track whilst watching it, go figure). The song now has a permanent placement in my play list rotation – that is until I get sick of it, which tends to happen with all the really catchy songs!

On a side note, I found out that rapper Shawn Chrystopher has already sampled Pumped Up Kicks, placing his own vocals in to the mix, the track being All The Other Kids. Already now, I think I’m starting to prefer the Shawn Chrystopher version.
